Designing is neither an art nor a science, it is the combination of both of them. It is a plan or framing for the erection of an object or system. We can also say that it is the execution of an activity or process. The person who produces a design is called a designer.

Eligibility
- B.Des.: Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board in any stream with a minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the exam authorities.
- B.F.Tech.: Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects with a minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the exam authorities.
- M.Des. / M.F.Tech.: Candidates must have B.Des. / B.F.Tech. degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institute or university with a minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the exam or college authorities.
- Ph.D.: Candidates must have M.Des. / M.F.Tech. degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institute or university with a minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the exam or college authorities.
